The oversight of public space is too important to be left up to those who don’t use them.

Enjoy a brief case study presentation of three public spaces in Cape Town:

i)           the Ryk Tulbagh Square public parking area,

ii)         the Company’s Garden and

iii)       Trafalgar Park in Woodstock.

Through his involvement in Places Plus, Alan Cameron has been involved in each of these sites for several years.

Each will study/track the following points:

1      How the community is assuming increased responsibility

2      How the City is reacting

3      Next steps
